New Shelby GT350 Production Numbers Leaked
If these numbers are accurate, you’ll want to act quickly once Ford officially releases ordering info about the new line of Shelbys. Actually, you'll want to act quickly even if they're not.

Darn you I thought they released the actual HP and Torque numbers!!! You're just talking about the build numbers. That's been known for months?

I've already decided it isn't worth the hassles and the inevitable additional dealer markup to buy a 350. Besides, my '09 Bullit has only 18,000 on it's clock and it's a well balanced driver that gets me to where I want to go with little fuss or bother.
If it were as simple as writing a check for sticker...I'd probably buy one. But we all know that won't be the case, so I'm not even going to try.
Let those who just gotta have the latest and the greatest go for it.

True, you know 5000 350s and 500 350Rs means a pretty good supply in the used market if they run more than a couple of years. And because there aren't that many options or colors you should be able to find exactly what you want if you're shopping these against the new market.

These numbers are not that different than the '12 and '13 Boss 302's and Laguna Secas, and the previous generation Bullitts.
Both models were readily available to those that wanted them, with the first "must have" owners paying over MSRP, and those that waited a bit, able to pay MSRP or less towards the third and fourth quarter builds.
I paid sticker for my Laguna seca in Oct. of 2011, and a friend of mine paid $1500 under sticker just a few months after me in Jan. of 2012.
I am not the least bit worried about finding a GT350 for sticker when I am ready to buy one.

Did you all notice Dodge was going to build as many Hellcats as there was a demand for them. Well, demand was so great that Dodge can not produce enough Hellcats to meet the demand for the 2015 model production. Dodge has asked their dealers not to take any more orders for the 2015 Hellcats. Ford would love to have this problem.

It seems that landing one of the new Mustang Shelby GT350Rs will come down to a lucky 500 people, based on the number of the units of the car that will be sold by Ford Motor Co.
However, the odds of picking up the more street focused Shelby, the GT350, will be a lot better, as around 5,000 units of that model are expected to be sold annually. So there’s still hope.

I expect to be selling our GT350's at MSRP, and expect we will see enough of those to go around (maybe not quite the first year) as we are the largest dealership in our region, and sell a lot of Mustangs in our area. We did MSRP on the Boss 302s and the GT500s.
Since I expect we'll only see 1 or maybe 2 GT350R's per year, I expect a small markup on those. All of our competitors mark up the specialty vehicles like crazy and they don't sell. We sell ours at MSRP, sell more and thus keep getting higher allocations.
I've already taken a bunch of GT350 deposits, so all of those customers will have the opportunity to order EXACTLY what they want, and know they won't get reamed on the price.

Can you hold off for a couple of weeks? I'm expecting to hit the NJ lottery by mid-May. I'll be in touch. Avalanche with white stripes, thank you very much.
