Imagine getting your hands on this one for a day. The heart of the King Cobra is a 2.3L Twin Vortices Series (TVS) supercharger co-developed and co-branded by Ford Racing and ROUSH Performance.

The high-powered Mustang also has a six-rib belt drive system, an upgraded intake manifold, electronic throttle body, air inlet system, fuel rail and high-flow fuel injectors, complete air-to-liquid intercooler system and the Ford Racing performance computer calibration.

Ford says an early version of the King Cobra package pulled off a quarter-mile time of 10.97 seconds at Michigan’s Milan Dragway, which ought to get the attention of a lot of Mustang fans.
