New Mustang Introduced to Belgium in Cloud of Tire Smoke
The current generation Mustang is one of the most important Mustangs Ford has ever released. However, this isn’t due to the new independent rear suspension, the new EcoBoost engine, or the fact that Ford’s Performance division is turning it into one of the most capable track cars on the planet. No, the S550 Mustang is one of the most important Mustangs due to the fact that it is now a global platform.
Not only is Ford bringing the Mustang to new corners of the globe, but the company also wants the rest of the world to know just how capable this new Mustang truly is. To achieve that goal, over the course of the last year, as the new Mustang makes its way to new countries, Ford has been putting together some excellent short films, which would make Ken Block blush.
The video below begins with a quote from Ford Group Vice President, Raj Nair: “We love all the products that we do, but the Mustang is special.” With those words ringing in your ears, the new Mustang enters the frame in a massive slide, proving it’s very much a special car. And what better way of introducing the new Mustang to Belgium, then in a cloud of tire smoke? The roads will never the same.
