Technology advances every second of the day. For automakers, it’s a never-ending race to see who can integrate the newest bells and whistles into their designs.

At least manufacturers haven’t put themselves in Apple’s position, releasing a completely new product annually. In the automotive world, there have been many discussions about pacing the introduction of tech, and to not make a product too advanced all at once.

Of course, some cars do have an Apple-like cult following – like the Mustang. Many fans are just waiting for the newest and greatest thing to be offered. So, in this video, a Ford purist discusses how the 2018 Mustang stacks up against the previous generation.

This journalist even expresses how the first pictures of the 2018 Mustang were a complete turn-off for him. He didn’t like the newly designed front-end and felt the long nose was ugly. However, he now lists it as one of the 5 best features of the new Mustang. So, car manufacturers have to design a car the public will not only accept, but grow to love too.
