RC Controlled ’65 Hoonicorn Mustang Is a Chip Off the Old Block

32-million YouTube views will earn you a lot of respect in practically any circle. But in the world of cars, where those kind of viewer numbers are practically unheard of, it’s hard to gauge what that kind of buzz will lead to.

Not that a scaled RC of any Mustang driven by drifting sensation Ken Block should really come as a surprise, given the racer’s huge fan base.

That said, we still think the idea of a mini model of Block’s ’65 Hoonicorn Mustang from GYMKHANA 7 is pretty brilliant.

According to Radio Control Car Action, no official date or details for the Mustang have been released, but it should be pretty true to the car’s actual specs with features like a shaft driven 4WD system, a sealed drivetrain, low profile layout, and easy access differentials.

But more importantly, the RC gives Mustang fans a chance to pick up a more personal memento of one of Block’s most memorable drifting shows to date, as highlighted in the original video posted below.
