Justin Pawlak Rips Mad 360 Mustang Drift
360s in racing are usually accidents, but Pawlak’s is perfectly intentional.
Normally, when you’re screaming around a racetrack at speed, you try your best not to initiate any angle, as you’ll quickly scrub speed. We’re all well familiar with drifting these days. And we all know that these wacky wheelmen intend to go fully sideways at all times. Usually, if you can get your car to any angle above 90 degrees, you’re cutting a really good line, something they refer to as “backward entry” into a corner. In the case of Justin Pawlak’s drift here, he managed a full 360-degree rotation! And now we have to stand up and applaud him for this act of bravery and tire destruction.

CHECK OUT: What Forum Members Are Saying About This Impressive Drift
Above is a view from the chase camera that absolutely blows our collective minds. You can see that the car is completely angled one direction coming out of the corner, and then Justin uses that momentum to flip the car the other direction, and follow all the way through, delicately balancing the throttle and the steering position to make it work. Somehow he gathers it all up at the end and heads into another drift for the upcoming corner.
It appears Justin may have done this feat a few times over the weekend at the Gridlife festival in Michigan, as there isn’t a chase car in this Instagram video. Pretty impressive, don’t you think?
