With all the speculative details about the next-gen Ford Mustang circulating, I wouldn’t be surprised if an actual working prototype close to the real thing shows up at SEMA next month.

Hey, don’t say it isn’t possible. I know of more than a few car modifiers revving up for the Las Vegas show capable of pulling it off – especially considering the video and spy shots of the car now making their way around the web.

The latest is a partial shot of the 2015 Mustang’s interior, courtesy of our friends at Motor Trend.

The photo depicts a pretty good picture of the new pony car’s center stack and steering wheel controls.  Visible details show a nine-button climate control with buttons for heated and cooled seats and simple radio buttons, a design feature Ford has been pushing in current models in attempts to make some of its in-car tech features less intimidating.

The center stack also features a push-button start and a row of toggle switches including emergency flashers and traction control.

Motor Trend has also gotten their hands on an image of the next-gen Mustang’s C-pillar and rear-quarter window from inside.

Compared to the 2013 model pictured, the interior photo of the 2015 model seems to reaffirm speculations that the new Mustang will likely feature a faster sloping roof line, reminiscent of the Ford Evos Concept car.

What’s not clearly visible from the spy shots is the type of in-car technology the new Mustang will feature, but expect a lot.  Ushering in a new pony car for next-gen car buyers is going to take a lot more than just great technology under the hood.
