Hennessey Venom 1000 Mustang Shelby GT500
When Hennessey is done with your car it will make 1,000 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque. Big numbers for sure. Some of the highlights of the build include an upgraded supercharger pulley and hub assembly. The supercharger belt is also upgraded. High-flow fuel injectors are installed in anodized billet fuel rails.
The fuel lines and fittings are also upgraded, as is the intercooler brick. Then the tuning happens. The engine and transmission are both tuned for optimum performance. The car is then tested on the dyno and on the road. Special Hennessey badging is installed, and the build is complete. So, the numbers and the equipment look impressive, but what is this thing like on the road? That is what we get to see in this video. Do you see anyone not smiling? Neither do we.
