LT Dyno Results
So here it is - before and after dyno graph of my SW LT install. All mods in sig.
First run was before the LT install in green and it put down 394/386 (88.35 F, 29.30 in-Hg, 59% Humidity, STD: 1.06).
The two other runs were after the LT install and had basically the same results. It put down 424/404 (76.62 F, 29.22 in-Hg, 46% Humidity, STD: 1.04)

Thanks to Woodbine Motorsports for doing a wonderful install and running the car on the dyno. Thanks to Beefcake for supplying the LT setup.

Very inspiring... nice to see someone getting their money's worth out of a mod!
IMO, an "off road" x pipe is off limits...I just can't stomach that. How much performance do you give up by staying legal?

So, what is it about the headers that make them emissions illegal? Sometimes they don't have accommodations for sensors, etc. but I don't think that's the case here... is it just that they haven't been CARB approved or something ?
It's a shame b/c headers themselves obviously don't add any emissions.
I heard it was the tune that was required for the LT's is what makes them not pass an emissions test. Ya might want to ask someone that makes tunes for a proper answer, I don't remember exactly what was said.
Ive never had anyone ask about the longtube headers in VA. In VA its just a visual check. When I had the converters, they never said anything. HP wise they don't make that much of a difference. Now in the sound deparment the off-road x-pipe was ALOT louder and I think it sounds better.
