Got the Steeda tune, pics and video included
Let me start this thread off with a little background.
Two weeks ago I dropped in at Steeda Canada and ended up purchasing the Steeda CAI, SCT tuner and Steeda tune package. I didn't take any of the parts home with me, but instead booked an appointment to come back (today) to get the work done and do a couple dyno pulls.
Yesterday I call the shop to confirm that I'm still on for my 9am appointment and they say, "yup we've got you booked. See you soon.". This morning I make the 75km drive out to Steeda (that's around 50 miles) only to find out that while their inventory shows they have 1 CAI in stock, they didn't actually have it. The owner, Pat, told me how embarrassed he was, apologized a number of times and ended up giving me 3 dyno pulls for free and gave me a significant discount on my purchase. Mistakes happen and it's great to know that there are fantastic businesses out there that go above and beyond to keep the customer happy.
STEEDA definitely went above and beyond! Thank you to Pat and the gang for the A+ experience!!!
OK, NOW ON TO THE FUN STUFF...
Since the CAI wasn't in, Steeda put my car on the dyno for a baseline pull, then hooked up the tuner and flashed with their 91 Octane optimized tune and then put the car back on the dyno for a second pull. In a week or so when they get the CAI in stock, I'll be back for the install and for a 3rd dyno to compare the results.
My Car is a 2011 5.0 with 3.73 gears and M6 transmission, bone stock with the exception of a GT500 axle-back exhaust.
Both dyno pulls were in done in 4th gear with 91 Octane. It was about 65F out and was humid. Dyno was set to pull to 6500rpm.
BASELINE - Stock car with GT500 axle-back
HP = 364.9 @ 6413 rpm
TQ = 344.5 @ 4331 rpm
2ND RUN - Add Steeda 91 Octane TUNE
HP = 389.3 @ 6429 rpm
TQ = 367.1 @ 4328 rpm

I ordered a 2012 GT/premium pack./6at/comfort pack./remote start. If you don't mind me asking... How much did it cost for all of that to be done? This is something i'm wanting to do with my car and it would be nice to prepare myself for pricetag.
I actually drove it pretty easy on the way home today and never really pushed it, so I'll have to report back to you once I am able to actually put the tune to use.
I'm up in Canada so prices might be a bit higher than you'll be looking at, but I basically spent around $1k for CAI, tune and the exhaust. Once I have the CAI and go with the 94 tune I hope to be around 410 rwhp.
