I wanna hear from v6 owners..

What mods have you done where you can actually feel a power difference?? And what would you recommend getting first with a stock MT v6? Thanks

Why not go look in the v6 mods section?

+1! A tune turns it into an entirely different car.

Cause I didn't want it to be. More people see it here.

Are you interested in feel or actual performance (e.g. time to speed or time to distance)?

I just ask because many tunes make a car seem faster in these drive by wire cars by opening the throttle more in relation to pedal position. So pressing the pedal down 1/4 might get you the same throttle as pushing half way to the floor stock. Personally I think the bad outweighs the good because it makes it harder to modulate the throttle for maximum traction but they do it because the perceived extra power sells more tunes.

Tunes definitely improve power to the ground, but not as much as it feels because of the games with the throttle position.

It doesn't seem fair but a tune does more for an auto trans car because the factory shifting is NOT what you want for performance and most tunes fix that.

I did my c.a.i. and axle back mufflers first. Evolution was working on a tune. I couldn't tell much gain in power until the tune came. I only 'return to stock' when i have to go to my dealer for warranty work .

So the tuners can flash it back to stock and the dealership can't tell it's been flashed?
