After driving my 06 around a few days, I get back in my Jetta and almost put my foot thru the floor (clutch effort is half that of the Mustang). Which led me to wonder if the Mustang has a mechanical or hydraulic clutch? If it is mechanical, is there a way to reduce clutch pedal effort? Or, is there an aftermarket hydraulic clutch available?

 

It's hydraulic and non-adjustable

 

Would a larger clutch slave cylinder reduce pedal effort? Anything like that exist in the aftermarket?

 

In a while, it will feel like nothing.
I learned on the old spring loaded mechanical types.
The new mustangs are nothin'.
Just drive up and down Candlewood Mountain rd. a few times to get in practice.
