Put in Correct Wheel Size at Top of Header For Correct Part Number. I Put in 17" Wheels Since You Had a V6

Or See Will This Fit My Vehicle Tab.

The FORD Number You Provided is a Ford Id# Which is Close To Part Number But Not Service # Part Number. If You Would Like Service Number For Cross Reference Provide Vehicle Vin Number.

The difference in the rack for different Mustangs is the steering stops for 19 inch and up wheels

Correct. It Limits Turning Radius So Wheels Don't Rub at Full Lock With The Larger Wheels!

Does that also apply to the older 2005-10 models? IIRC, models which were factory equipped with 16'" wheels had different steering stops over models which came with 17" wheels and also with the optional 18" wheels... If also I'm not mistaken, I believe the steering stops for the 2007-10 Shelby GT500 models also had different steering stops when compared with the base V6 and base GT models as well...

Actually on the 2011-2014 Cars The Rack Rod Ends are Different Part Numbers For Wheel Size! They Come With The Restrictors When You Get FORD Ends. See The Blue Piece in First 3280 Listed and Black on The Last. So For Example If A Guy Had a Tire Rub Issue on Turning With a 17" Wheel Car That Had Wider Wheels Installed He Could Add The Rods and or Restrictors For Rub Issues!

That's what I thought, but wasn't 100% certain... Therefore, being as my 2006 GT premium originally had standard 17" wheels, would this mean that my car has different steering stops over the optional 18" wheel package? If so, would I need to update to the steering stops which were factory included with the optional 18" wheel package... My reason for concern is I have since upgraded from the OEM/standard 17" wheels to OEM 2007-09 Shelby GT500 wheels which are 18x9.5" in diameter...

As Long As They Never Rub on Full Lock You Are Fine! If They Do Rub Then a Restrictor May Do The Job! Tire Size Would be a Factor Too if Yours Are Wider or Narrower Than The Stock Gt-500 Tires!

Current tire size is 275/40/18" on all 4 corners vs stock GT500 255/45/18" front and 285/40/18" rear...
