My eyes are now closed, trust me lol. As I don't envy the horror you had to go through at all.. Also glad you made it home ok through all that snow

The horror, the horror!

I drove mine through some Massachusetts winters and it did fine driving-wise. Actually I like it better than front wheel drive, it's no fun at all spinning the front tires.

But I couldn't stand the sight of it covered with salt or burried under a pile of snow, so now I drive a Camry in the winter.

Lol, while people say I love my Jeep in the winter, I say I have even more fun with my Mustang in the winter!

I have Blizzaks on mine, during the big blizzards we had in the past, I threw some extra weight in the trunk. I have a good sense of what the car is capable of. Drive it slowly and easy and I can get around just fine, as long as the snow is not higher than my ground clearance, lol. And, if I wanted to have some fun, I just mash on the pedal and let the car throw me around a bit!

I wish it would snow more in NYC. Only thing that sucks is the salt, seriously, sometimes there's more salt than snow on the ground here. Plus, I like to smile at other drivers who gives me awkward or dirty looks.

I believe our modern Mustangs will handle salt just fine. I usually try to rinse it off when I can, but temps are below freezing till Wednesday here. You can bet she will be getting a nice wash then.

Yep, mine stood up to it just fine. I would wash it whenever I got a chance, like you say. There is a little rust and corrosion on the underside but not much and not bad at all. Definitely not like back in the day when they melted away to a pile of rust flakes in a year or two.

But it still kills me to see it all covered with that stuff.

LOL you guys... why you keep making me cringe?

hehe... kidding. I am impressed you are all driving them in snow. I'd be too scared. But really, I just don't want dirt getting on my car. LOL. Real reason.

If it wasnt a Ford worth 45k then maybe id agree

But honestly, the car serves me, i dont serve it. If i need to drive it in winter, i dont really care, its made of aluminum, wont rust. It can be detailed when it needs to be. No biggie

LOL... what's up Alex! long time bud.

Yeah, I've got a couple beaters for winter. I find no joy in driving a 700hp rwd car in winter - especially when I can't use the power anyways. I'll save it for when the tires can grip and I can rip it.

Lmao for sure, that would be awful. Even a stock GT can be a handful in deep snow.

Temps soared into the low 40s F today, so she got a good rinse. If it stays warm tomorrow, I might try to do a real wash. I must have left a couple pounds of crud in the driveway when I was done.

Been missing my car lately... so thought I'd recycle an older pic from last year. She remains hibernated. Marilyn will rise again. (in 2 or 3 months!)

I might be getting mine out this Saturday after days of rain and temps getting up to 60 degrees
