Do you guys think I should have gone darker on the sides or on the back?

35% sides, 20% rears

I would of gone as dark as I can on all sides. Of course it's illegal in most states but to me it looks awesome

It's hard to tell from those pics that have been edited. BUT i think the set up you have is perfect you won't have to worry about having any trouble with cops and it looks good. I had 20% on my front windows and it was to dark. Now I have 30% and I think it's perfect, but then again my car is all blacked out so it makes it look a little darker

Exact same setup I got, which is the legal limit in front and dark enough in back to look good without being too hard to see out of.

Thx john. I'm surprised you don't have it yet? Yeah IMO, tint with kona just looks great. What's the limit in Illinois? Why'd you choose 30?

Here, the rears and and rear quarters have no limit. My friends told me I should have gone with limo 0% tint for the rears. My worry is that looking through the sides out the back, makes the sides appear too dark.

I did 20% all around. Dark enough during the day and I have adjusted to seeing out at night. I usually drive with the windows down so no problem here in NOLA.

Car looks great btw, Kona was my first choice but after seeing it in person I though it was to dark. Wish I would have gotten black but oh well, my '15 will be black.

.
I had an appointment last fall but the windshield needed to be replaced right at the same time...retarded vinyl stripe incident I told you about. So figured I'd wait till spring. I want 20% but that's on my Jeep and it's a real pain at night to see. 35% is legal here but it's too light for me so that's how I settled on 30%. 11SHELBYGT500 has it and his pics look just perfect, so that just confirmed my decision.

I thought from your avatar you had an orange boss, so its grabber blue? I think with lighter colored cars, dark tint looks better as there's a bigger contrast. 20% though that would look awesome.

And thx for the kind words btw.

I must tell you how AWESOME those pics are. Not only does your Mustang look beautiful, but the pictures are spectacular. Great angles, background, and color. BTW, tint looks good.

Can't judge the job to well with HDR images. It doesn't properly show the shows and highlights.

Looks good. I had 35% on the sides and 20% on the back of mine and was pulled over. I just got a warning but I ripped the tint off the door windows... :|

I just had the S2000 tinted... 50% sides and 30% on the back window. Pretty light but it's the legal limit in VA.

Missouri is the same - 35% is the limit in front and everything else is whatever you want. I just meant that I feel like 20% is plenty dark but it's still fine to see out of at night. 0% in the back would make maneuvering and driving at night more difficult and that's just dumb, IMO.

FromZto5 I do have a GB 5.0 I haven't changed my avatar since I got the car. The orange Boss pic was from before I even ordered. Woulda got one but a little to pricey for me.

Thanks Togan. No, it's K springs on all 4, so yeah, fronts too. 1.5" drop on all 4.

btw, when's your car coming??? If your dealership gets a 2013 in before your 12 comes, demand an even trade!

Thanks PJR! I appreciate the kind words. I keep thinking, if I could get a 2nd stang, it would be in race red. I have a soft spot for red.

yeah 20% is illegal, but dang it does look good. Is it easy to see out at night?

Thanks Lewis. IMO, tint of a light colored (white) car looks awesome. I miss my Z whenever I see your car.

VA pulls over too? Yeah, you should have just chanced it Steve! What's one ticket a year??? Yeah, 50% is too light imo. But still, it's better than OEM.

That's what worries me, if I went 0% on the back. Maybe safety.
