Frustrated with American Muscle
Two weeks ago, I ordered a staggered "Hyper Dark" GT500 wheel/tire combo from AM. Few days of it backordered....no big deal. It finally ships out, but the front and rear wheels DON'T MATCH. Rears are the correct hyper dark color, but the fronts are more charcoal.
Ship the fronts back with a promise of a quick turnaround. Lol. Yesterday, I'm told that although my return delivery was received, they had to use all new tires on the replacement wheels.....and they are out of stock on tires.
Geez, guys. Get it together.

Did anyone here use their AMMCASH deal back in June? Customers were supposed to use the code when they ordered parts and get $10 credit for every $200 spent. I dropped $2000 on one order and still don't have my $100 credit. I clicked their online help thing and asked about it this afternoon and they asked me for a copy of the email with the deal. They expect me to keep their emails forever? I'm starting to think that they screwed up and it's going to cost me my $100 credit.

Follow-up: I have no complaints about the customer service reps at AM. They were all very helpful and seemed vested in helping me figure out the solution. The replacement fronts (8.5") arrived after only a 7-8 day wait. To be honest, the new ones are still not exactly the same color as the rears, but close enough. I went ahead and installed them.
My only ongoing frustration is that color matching on wheels should never be an issue.

I'm glad to hear you were able to get the problem worked out. I have never had a problem with AM, and as you say they have been very helpful. The car looks great, and if you're like me, you will be the only one to notice the slight difference.
