I recently won the Gumout give-away and here is my review, as promised. I will say that the package arrived in a very timely manner. The box included 2 bottles of All-In-One, 1 bottle of One and Done, 1 bottle of Multisystem Tuneup, a pen, bottle opener, decal, and t-shirt. Please excuse the shirt, it was wrinkled from being in my luggage.

I drove my 2013 Mustang, now with 63700 miles on it, from Warner Robins, GA to Oklahoma City, OK in 14 hours. The verdict on Gumout All-In-One is hard to say. My injectors only have 26,000 miles on them since they were replaced when I added the ProCharger, so it is doubtful they had any issues to begin with.

When I started my trip, I filled up with 93 octane and no additive to establish a baseline. I travelled 286.6 miles and put in 12.89 gallons. This got me 22.23 mpg with the cruise set to 78 mph. Change is elevation was 365' to 644' above sea level. At this fill up, I added Gumout All in One.

After running 295.0 miles with the All in One, I added 13.93 gallons of 93 octane for a result of 21.17 mpg with the cruise set 78 mph. Change is elevation was 644' to 335' above sea level.

The final tank of this trip was after another 303.3 miles. I added 13.6 gallons of 91 octane for 22.29 mpg with the cruise set 78 mph. Change is elevation was 335' to 1201' above sea level.

While there was no noticeable change, the relatively new injectors and increase in elevation probably didn't quite make each tank an apples to apples comparison. We do have a car that I feel has dirty injectors that I plan on running the Gumout Multi-system Tuneup in and see if it improves anything before replacing them.

I thought Ford and other makers of vehicles say, "never use fuel additives".

I'm not worried since I am beyond warranty anyway. A quick search of the manual did not come out and forbid it. Here is all I could find in the main manual:

Note: During extended periods of vehicle storage (30 days or more), fuel may deteriorate due to oxidation. Add a quality gas stabilizer product to the vehicle fuel system whenever actual or expected storage periods exceed 30 days. Follow the instructions on the additive label. The vehicle should then be operated at idle speed to circulate the additive throughout the fuel system.

Ford Motor Company recommended additives and chemicals are listed in the owner manual and in the Ford Workshop Manual. Additional chemicals or additives not approved by Ford are not recommended as part of normal maintenance. Please consult your warranty information.

From the warranty insert:

• accidents, collision or objects striking the vehicle (including driving through a car wash)
• theft, vandalism, or riot
• fire or explosion
• using contaminated or improper fuel/fluids
• customer-applied chemicals or accidental spills
• driving through water deep enough to cause water to be ingested into the engine
• misuse of the vehicle, such a driving over curbs, overloading, racing or using the vehicle as a permanent stationary power source

I used Techron in my 5.0 and it wouldn't crank normal for a while after I ran that tank out.
