Decided to wrap my roof today. Did it myself, from afar it looks ok, but if you look at it closely, definitely looks like it was done by an amateur, lol.

Lol, I don't think I would like my whole car wrapped. I definitely think I will redo it again, most of my screw ups are near the front driver's side area.

Ooh, right there in your face every time you get in! Yeah, my first experience with vinyl had a pretty steep learning curve and rough results. Second time went much better.

Yea, not as easy as YouTube, lol. I had a buddy to help me put on the vinyl, but not much else. Definitely learn from the mistakes the first time.

It's been a while but I'm finally back into Mustang season. Been out the past few weeks here and there deciding this summer's mods. First thing I need to do is buff out the finish. My car cover left some minor scuffs on the clear. Nothing a bit of work won't take care of quickly.

Anyway, a shot out with friend for a Sunday cruise...

Looks awesome man. I always wanted a black or CF roof too. Maybe someday.

Beauty. But hey, that's why I never do car covers. I don't care how "soft" they are. Any"thing" touching your paint = swirls/scratches, no matter how small or unnoticeable. It's there...

You do realize that you posted in the 2010-14 sub forums ? Although there's no denying that your Ruby Red "16" is awesome, you should've posted your images in the 2015-18 sub forums section never the less

Thanks and I hear ya, but being garage-less I think the potential for worse is there without a cover. In a few weeks I have a vacation coming up and I'll be correcting issues in the clear.

Good point. At least scratches you can fix.

Yup - got busy at life and had a new baby a few years ago, he took priority, although the mustang now has a recaro (car) seat Should I list that as an upgrade??? LOL

wow congrats man! I remember that day for me, like it was yesterday! My wife we prego with our 2nd, and that's when I decided to trade in my 370Z (Zena) for the Pony (Marilyn) since she had a back seat!

Ahhhh... seems like yesterday.

Congrats again.
