I've been searching for 2016 auto gt for awhile now and found a premium for about what most of the bases go for around here, but its an 8 hour drive away. I was originally looking for magnetic, guard or maybe silver, but that race red just looks right for some reason. In other pics, it looks too bright. IDK, think its worth the drive to check out? Are you guys satisfied with yours? I only had one other red car back around 98 and it got a lot of attention and people wanting to race even though it was slow (140hp eclipse). I just don't want to look too flashy or attract unwanted attention from the highway enforcers.
Red works on any year and any style of Mustang. I've never seen a red Mustang that I didn't like. Go for it and turn some heads. Screw the azzholes that want to race you. Don't give them the satisfaction.

Race Red is nice. I looked at gt/cs in that color. As much as I love my silver 2013 gt, I may have came home with it if I was in the market for one. I think I would have been satisfied with it. It was sold a week later. You should go to a local dealer and look at one before going so far away.
I just purchased a 2016 Mustang GT in race red with the GT performance package, which comes with black wheels. While I'm not a fan of black wheels (although these are growing on me) I think that red is one of the few colors that looks good in this combination. I looked at a yellow GT with the same package and to me (no offense to yellow mustang owners) it was not a pleasing color combination. White is too plain and black hides all the vehicle's details. Blue works but is very close to the black combination, IMHO.
Congrats PTParks! I bought the same package and love it.
I recommend your first interior mod be the GT350R steering wheel. Other local mustang club members have done the same and agree it lifts the perception of your car gripping the nicer leather, plus the red sight line and stitching look killer on race red.
Just bought a 16 v6 in Race Red and when I buy a newer GT I want it in a dark blue....The Race Red is a nice color in the right light and time of day it almost looks orange in a way witch I think is nice.
