I have never driven in the rain with the R888's before, but from what my buddy Cam has said about them I take it that getting an enema from a big hairy female nurse is a preferred experience over driving them in the rain.
I found that the weight on the 19x10's is 25.3 which is a bit odd to me considering they are heavier than the 19x11's by almost a lb even though they are a smaller wheel. Hopefully that is just a typo though. As long as there is nothing needed, maybe a spacer up front to fit the 19x10's I am pretty much sold on them. I think the guy who makes them owned the yellow S197 and now he owns a yellow S550. I remember him changing wheels constantly and the fitment was always perfect and they always looked great. I have no idea what his name is though haha.

Put it this way...he was struggling to put the power down, but we had a 911 Turbo (AWD remember) wave us by, mid corner, in the wet. If that's not an endorsement, I don't know what is. My buddy Sam has a 2014 GT like mine, Glass Roof, leather Recaros, FRPP rear seat delete and Boss X-brace, Whiteline everything suspension, 1-piece driveshaft, Cobra Jet intake, Dynatech headers and cat-less X-pipe, Corsa Sport quad tip axle-backs, AED dyno tune and Wilwood 6/4piston brakes with separate reservoir for the clutch.
PM me any info you want on the 6GRs, I can text him and ask. His name is Paul.

Thanks Patrick! I will probably go with the Pilot Sport Cup 2's since I hear they have better manors in the wet than the R888's. Sam sounds like he has a well sorted out car for sure and making some good power, not 100% certain on his aero enhancements though, but that is subjective I guess. One day I will go after my suspension like he has, except for Cortex rather than Whiteline.
I also got a response from Paul that sort of answers my questions. The part that worries me is that I saw that the weight that had listed was 25.3 and not he said from his recollection they are 23.5 so I'm not certain if he just got his numbers backwards :/
Yes we did, I dont have it off the top of my head but it was I believe 23.5 or 23.7 lbs for that.
also yes they work great on the S197 even the Boss 302 would work out fine, no work was needed.
Hopefully they are 23.5 and not the other way around haha.

Yesterday I had gotten these pictures from Eric saying they were getting to work on putting the car back together
Right now I am ****ing chomping at the bits!! Eric was hoping for 600+WHP and I was hesitant at first, but after a few changes I am confident we will be over the 600 mark.
From the sounds of things they are just finishing up the little details of the motor. Stupid me forgot to send them down some bolts they needed to finish the car off so they are gathering the bolts for me and will put them in the car. This car is going to be a ****ing MONSTER when it is done. The engine is going to be insane and then it is time to hook up the suspension to handle all the power.

Thanks guys!! 600+ NA would be a freaking dream!! I remember thinking about a Big Bore Stroker 3V thinking well MAYBE I could get 430 out of it if I am lucky and here we are now talking about 600+. It goes to show you how great the coyote platform is IMO.
Here is another video of it moving. I think this really highlights how rowdy it currently sounds. We will see what happens once the tuning is complete.

I hope it stays that way after they tune it.
After riding in Sam's car at that track, I gave up my plans to do the Department of Boost kit. I'm just going to do the ported Cobra Jet and call it a day! I just got my long tubes on the car yesterday and holy crap!!!! That extra 20 or so hp makes a big difference! I do feel a small loss of torque down low, but not bad at all. So worth the extra pull from 4000 to 7500!!!

Thanks guys, I don't know how many times I have sat there and played the videos listening to it. I do know that if you want the real expierence you have to go and play it through the speakers in your car. The rumble and the bass is amplified ten fold. I **** ner jizzed my pants!
