And BTW Rocky, the info one old racer (can't remember his name, I'm old too, lol) is fantastic. Love having people with first hand experience to get feedback from. Good dude ( if he is a dude, can't be sure anymore).

On a 2015-2023, I would start with these https://www.steeda.com/steeda-s550-m...-555-8133.html. They will correct the steering angle of your lowered car. Think about it, as you are driving down the road and you go across an uneven dip or bump the sock suspension setup that is lowered, and has already consumed about 1/3 of its total suspension travel, which pushes it beyond the normal range of normal suspension travel. This causes the car to feel like it wants to go into the direction of the most out of range movement. When you correct the suspension angle the car will act as designed.
Most drivers dont need to install sub frame braces unless you push the car in left right rapid turns (road racing or Autocross) or drive on lots of uneven roads. Look at the sub frame under the Mustang. You will find a set of unattached long harden steel curved beams. A sub frame brace ties the two together making them stiff at its weakest point. For street driving the most you would need, and easiest to install, is this one https://www.steeda.com/steeda-s550-u...5533.htmlNote: if you have an auto trans you may need to adjust the cooling lines a little or put some rubber to keep them from rubbing or vibrating if you install a sub frame brace. The vibration can cause funky shifting. Trust me The car will feel very different. with these two mods, and you will like the change

He rolled right on out and I was like oh crap, I'm gonna hit the curb. Had to back up a few feet and crank it full lock again to do what he did.

I turned it around in a parking lot the other day at the Dollar General (yeah, I'm a cheap ****, should see the looks you get at DG in this thing )

And it was a WIDE turn. But like I said, been driving the 15 Grand Cherokee for years and I may have forgotten the turning radius of these cars. If you haven't driven a late model Grand Cherokee, the freaking thing will about turn in it's own track, lol. Super tight turning radius for an SUV, for the woods and off-road I assume.
I also agree with your assessment as well, as I honestly cannot come up with a reason for the GT500 having a different turning radius over a standard GT, as both are on the same S550 chassis with the only exception of having different suspension option packages along with different wheel/tire size options

You're not alone Lee, for I also don't remember one old racer's name... In the meantime, I'm glad he took the time to provide feedback for you... However, he completely avoided providing feedback to my question... I guess he didn't find my question as being relevant enough for whatever his reason may have been... Oh well, it is what it is I suppose

It takes a 40 acre field to do a u turn in this thing (exaggerating of course, but that's what they used to say about the old Mopars).

I wouldn't look at it like that, he's old like me, 1 old racer. I skim over and forget to get back to a lot of things, not because I don't care or Don't want to bother, but because I really don't remember to do it.

No offense Rocky, just wanted to give a little different perspective.

No offense taken Lee, at 64 I'm not exactly what you call a spring chicken anymore either lol. Perhaps one old racer someone missed over my response and questions? But now that you, Kevin and One Old Racer have since responded back... I am still awaiting a response from One Old Racer to my questions.

Kevin! Not quite sure that I follow when you say that sometimes you think we are more alike than different? I would really appreciate a clarification when you refer to only sometimes? Otherwise, I take that as an assumption as meaning that most of the time, you do not? As for responses, like yourself I don't feel that it's asking too much to expect folks to have at least enough consideration to submit a reply whenever a question is being directly submitted towards them, as I have always been a very firm believer in treating others in the very same way that I would expect to be treated in return... If the person in question for some reason would happen to either miss the post submitted or may had forgotten about it? then at least acknowledge it after it's been brought to their attention... If for any reason, I am unable to provide an answer for someone who has submitted a question directed towards me specifically? I will at the very least submit a response stating that I'm unable to provide an answer for them, due to lack of knowledge... Therefore, I would never just leave somebody hanging, as there is just no excuse when it comes to folks who are inconsiderate as far as I'm concerned!

One Old Racer! I am still awaiting a response to the following questions reposted below...

With more Camber you should increase the toe in a little. and 3. Most people that run this wide of a tire have already installed some type of lowing system on their car. So a bumpsteer kit is absoluly the most important part to keep 'tramling at bay.

My car is also lowered by 1.3" front and 1.5" rear on Eibach Pro Springs with Koni Yellow adj struts/shocks... Other than that, no other suspension upgrades have been made... Just as Lee also mentioned in his post, I also do not track my car, but just enjoy some occasional spirited driving from time to time, otherwise, I just enjoy cruising to car meet events... In the meantime, I'd be very interested in your thoughts/opinions towards recommending a bumpsteer kit and or subframe brace for my particular application.

Sorry for the delay 05, I forgot to post the P/N's for the S197 guys. I do like Steeda hardwear because they field test all their stuff and offer great tech help if needed. So with that here is the bumpsteer kit https://www.steeda.com/steeda-mustan...-555-8106.html and here is the lower sub frame brace. https://www.steeda.com/steeda-2005-u...-555-5530.html
You may not need the lower brace unless you run a lot of twisty uneven roads.

EXCELLENT choice of tire!!
That's my pick for next tire whenever I need tires for my Mustang. (Which probably won't be for a very, very long time. LOL)

Thank you for your reply, as I was hoping you had a very good reason for the previous delay In the meantime, I really don't think it will be necessary to add a lower subframe brace at this time, as I don't do any type of auto crossing nor run on lots of twisty/uneven roads... I will however look into the Steeda bumpsteer kit that you recommend...

Once again, thank you for replying back along with providing your knowledge and expertise which is very helpful and valuable, to say the very least... And btw: My first name is Rocky!

My apologies Kevin for being paranoid, as I should had known better that your comment was intended as an Observational Compliment... Unfortunately, one of my faults is that at times I have some difficulty when it comes to interpreting what is posted when reading text which is something I've struggled with for quite sometime... In the meantime, thanks for clarifying and most of all, thanks for your patience and understanding as always

I finally got around to having them installed. They fit perfect. The front tire was very close to the strut so I installed a 3mm spacer just to give it a tiny bit more room. And not tramlining whatsoever.

Wow, I am surprised how those big boys fit the S550 fenders very nicely. Looks great and I hope it improves you track grip and handles like you want it to.
