Do you have a contact at Saleen for the tuning of this, Saleen Canada has no idea what I was talking about when they bounced me around their phones for a few weeks trying to figure out if I could get them to set mine up for the 320 km version

Speaking of new gauges. I just installed a set of stainless steel gauge faces from US Speedo. Works fine with "My Color". I had white faces in before, these are much better looking.

I like these 180mph Saleen gauges but i think Saleen would have to recal both the Speedo and the Tach since the tach goes to 7 instead of 8 like the normal GT

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

EDIT: i just got off the phone with Saleen, i am going to buy the 180mph gauges. I like the redline on the 165mph mark all the way up to 180mph. When i talked to them they said i could add the Saleen needles for a little extra or just use my stock ones. But they will Recalibrate everything, from the Tach and Speedo to the 4 smaller gauges.

The 200mph goes to 8 grand on the tach.
I paid ...I think it was $55 extra for the needles.

They did an swesome job on it too. Works great.

Im not understanding the lighting gel you're talking about. its not in the instructions. So I sand down the message center window so its not green any more then place this lighting gel insert in there instead?

Sorry for the delay. Whats confusing you on the lighting gel? If its on a stock overlay then yes you wet sand the green off the back side, polish, and then place the lighting gel on the back where you sanded/polished. Lmk if that answered your question

Turned out like crap. I did it and I painted the needles silver like the Saleen gauges. The window is too scratched. I used 1000 grit and I polished the heck outta it and it still looks terribly hazey

06stangsc - if you would like to talk to me on the phone just shoot me a pm and we'll get a time setup. Few quick questions: is this the stock cluster? Did you use a random orbital buffer and micro scratch remover to polish the window after you wet sanded the green off? and did you glue the lighting gel in place or just place it on the back?

Thanks for the help i really appreciate it. I only have the web on my phone for the weekend cause i'm outta town so it wont let me pm you. Yeah i wet sanded it and used scratch x and swirl x just cause it wasn't working. I placed the gel in i didn't glue. I was considering using a blade to just cut out the window
