How sad is that... you shouldn't have a V8 if you won't see the second half of that speedo!!!

Who said I havent already seen the second half that speedo? lol I see it at least once a month on either a trip to Memphis or a trip to the strip. Now until I get a few suspension upgrades and non stock tires I dont want to push it too far... yet! I live in the middle of no where its nice and flat... you can draw your own conclusions what I do with those nice flat straight roads

Makes enough sense. Thanks.

I'll probably going to switch to blue so that should work fine.

Torch - Yes the blue should work just fine. I layed a piece of blue lighting gel over the display before I installed the red one and it looked sick so you shouldnt have a problem at all.

06StangSC - Really all youre doing if you get the Saleen overlay is cutting the green window out and putting the lighting gel in place and then you have to send it off to Saleen to have them install it and recalibrate your cluster for the 200 mph portion. So in all reality you arent doing near as much work compared to the stock overlay.

Maybe it has to do with the 100 charge for tuning. Think Team JDM could just add it to their tune or something?

I doubt it. I contacted SCT prior to having it done by saleen and they said the only way to get it recalibrated was by saleen or ford.

How much did Saleen charge you for it? How long did it take them? I was going to do this a long time ago!

LTX - Thats the next mod on my list to do. Took me a while of searching to find a red LED with the right mcd was a challenge but I finally found one. So as soon as I order them and have a free day then Ill have em in!

NastyStang113 - Saleen charged me $100 plus all shipping(which I provided a return shipping label for) for the install of the overlay and recalibration. I shipped it Sunday night and got it back Thursday afternoon. You can reach Dave Rivard at Saleen at this number (248) 743-6241 if you wanted more info or to get it done.

Yep. The install of the overlay is included in Saleen's $100 charge.
