Titan is very mean!! He try's to bite me when we play... Captain on the other hand doesn't bite me I've already said You people some where on here lol

Well it happens

 

My dog. Aside from my wife and my Shelby, this is the most important thing in my life. He's 8 years old this March, and I have already begun wondering what I'm going to do when he passes.

The sweater, however, was not my idea. I think he is as miserable as he looks in that picture. My wife put him in that for the holidays so he'd look "festive."

 

OMFG hes beautiful!!! I just want to ****** him up, hug him and love on him!! I love hounds. Such good dogs. Redbone coonhounds are my favorite, but basically any hound is special to me. Bassetts, Beagles, Black and Tans, Bloodhound, etc.

 

He'd love you right back. He absolutely loves people. Best people dog I've ever had. I'd say more, but I'd never shut up about him. His eyes, his ears, his big fat front paws pointed in opposite directions, he's just a wonderful friend. No day is so bad that I can't look at him, watch him wag his tail at me, paw at me for his dinner and realize that everything's ok.

 

I'd love to snuggle him up in my lap, rub those big floppy ears, his belly, chin, and that droopy snout. Just let him lick me all over my face and pet him from head to toe, tell him what a sweet boy he is and hold him in my lap. He's beautiful. Yeah, that may sound weird, but I don't give a ****, I love dogs more that most people.

I know what you mean, a dog can turn the worst day into a good experience. I love them so much. The unconditional love that they offer can't be matched, it may be weird to compare it to humans, but the love a dog gives comes with no strings attached, I've yet to meet a human that can say the same thing.

 

It doesn't sound weird to me. Dogs don't know how to lie. They don't know how to deceive you. Now, that doesn't mean they don't know the difference between what's right and what's wrong, because Flash (yes, he's named after the Bassett from the Dukes of Hazzard) will look around furtively, poke his nose in my wife's sock drawer and grab a rolled-up pair, trot off to the living room, sneak behind the couch and go to town on them even though he knows we don't let him do that. The hardest thing I've ever had to do is not give in when he looks at me after he's done something he knows he's not supposed to do. When he's hungry, he talks to me. He doesn't bark, doesn't whine, just rumbles at me. I rumble back at him, and he rumbles some more. Hilarious. Opinionated, charismatic, expressive, playful, energetic (surprisingly so for a Bassett hound), always happy unless he eats too many acorns in the yard. lol

 

Great dog. And he looks like a table in an Italian restaurant in that sweater.
Glad you listed your wife before the Shelby. I assume that was on purpose
