Haven't posted in this thread for a while. Nothing spectacular here though. Just me, bored, wandering around 'downtown' yesterday evening. Not a very thrilling scene, but it was the tail end of the 'golden hour,' and I was getting cold dammit!

I think a shot after sunset with all the lights on is the way to go, however. I just don't know when the hell they do that.

 

Now Iz getting home sick for the prairies ? there was like a grian elevator in every town and when they caught fire wowwa that was huge there are not many left period, if I go back in the next few days I wanna take some pic's

 

Very nice pics Scott. Your a lucky man. But could you show a little more of the cars. Do you have a shot of the two cars together. Are they both yours, or is it his and hers cars?

 

People don't realize the dust in the silos is very explosive! The company I work for makes explosion protection for grain elevators.

Nice pics, I worked at a grain elevator in Orrick Mo. during the harvest season 1973. It was tuff work. I enjoyed using the diesel Ford tractor for moving the loaded railcars away from the loading chute to spot another empty. I was back there for a visit this spring.

 

I worked at an elevator for exactly one harvest season. I was the scrawny, underpaid doofus scooping out the back of the grain trucks. Good times. You'd be amazed how many rats go through the auger.

LOL its all good... no worries =) The cars are mine and hers. Hers is a 2001 GT and mine is a 2000 GT.
