Cool! Seems like the kind of thing I would enjoy restoring, but I'm terrible with photoshop. Might have to message you sometime if I find one to restore.
Man those are some awesome shots!!! I've always wanted to see the northern lights in person.
These just looked like a faint glow on the horizon. Almost like backlight clouds near a city. The one time they were insanely intense this past spring and right over head was incredible. It's hard to see the color with the naked eye (rods and cones stuff), but the way they were pulsing through the sky was something I'll never forget. It was enough to make me splurge a bit on a wide angle lens so next time I'd be ready.
This weekend is the 3rd Annual Wichita "Air Capitol ComicCon." I decided to bring a few of my arcade games for people to play because hey, why not. I brought my Galaga, Donkey Kong, and X-Men....and they were a smash hit! They were being played by someone every second of the event from the moment I turned them on to when I turned them off to leave. People were lining up to play Galaga and Donkey Kong. I must have heard "Pixels" and "you have to learn the patterns" about 100 times. I was also asked by multiple people if I owned an arcade in the area that they could being their kids to or if I rented out my machines. It got me thinking about the pipe dream of opening a small arcade here in Wichita.
Anyway, still one more day to go but today was a great day. Just wanted to share. Here are the pics!...
The lines were long at times...
Even Megaman had to stop by and play some Donkey Kong...
^^^ That is awesome man! Love your games, especially love your pinball machines.
Thanks! I've actually gotten rid of 3 of them. I'm just down to 2. Never played the other ones. I'll be getting more in the future but I'm saving up for the good ones. For now, I just finished a complete restoration of a Ms. Pac Man I found on Craigslist...
Stopped into the Porsche dealer to visit a friend who works there, and look at some pretty crazy machines. this spyder costs $2.5 million. Has 1 gas engine and 2 electric ones :O

The 918 is definitely one sexy Porsche. My favorite since the Carrera GT
The Christmas lights went back in the attic yesterday (sorry, no more blurry light shots in the DSLR thread )...BUT not before putting them to use one more time
