Got this nice bolt with the spray and pray method using my Canon 70D.
I use Lightning Camera app on my cellphone. It is great. Ran this one through the Photoshop Express app.

That one with your Canon is great. Super sharp and crazy looking bolt
A few of my pics of the northern lights last night. Still need to work on focusing in the dark among other things.

I took this one Friday night. Wish I had the camera tilted just a tad higher though.
The reddish arch in the picture isn't the product of the camera or the lightning, it was actually in the sky. The sun was setting and shining underneath the clouds. It would have been a rainbow but the sunset was very red.
