Did some spring cleaning today. Detailed my Aprilia RSVR 1000 and my Ducati 848. They started up with a sneeze then purred like lions.

let me elaborate a bit…
this is my first ever mustang. I was NEVER a car guy until this one. I didn't even care about shelby's and barely knew what they were. I knew I had a budget for a sportscar and decided on a convertible. My ford dealer is a friend of mine, but has sold me 5 f150's and suggested I try a mustang. A couple of my friends asked me if i was going to get a GT500, and I actually had to look it up LOL! After a year with this bute, I would indeed love a GT500 coupe. But not till the dust settles in a year or two after construction is done.

 

That's perfectly understandable. I went the other way: Shelby first, then house. I didn't know what was going to happen after '13 and I heard of the changes they were making to HP. I'd had a Shelby GT that I had sold and had regretted it ever since then, so I decided I'd bite the bullet and put the house off a few years to put myself back into a high-end mustang. Now it's a matter of finishing the mods to the Shelby (which has finally happened, except for the remote possibility of getting a Kenne Bell 2.8 LC charger) and every spare penny is now going to the land/house down payment fund. Should be where we want to be in two years, max. I'm one of those guys that always has to be doing something, and with the 10-12 acres we're looking to buy, I'll have a good bit of room to piddle. That will take up most of my time and money which will leave little for buying/modding cars. :-/
