There is a large bison herd about an hour south of our place in CO. I was driving through once when they were out in a field beside the road. I stopped and got out and took video. They are huge, magnificent, and noisy. I was glad I was on high ground and there was a sturdy fence between me and them. The Native Americans were super bad*** to be hunting those animals with spears and arrows.
