With the recent arrival of the Chevy SS here in the states, we learned all too quickly that an SS-based ute was already out of the question. GM North American prez and former Holden boss Mark Reuss said that the price point of the ute would simply be too high for buyers.


Thankfully then- while the SS may not find itself with a big bad bed anytime in the near future- new leaked images show of a Camaro-based El Camino which is said to go into production for 2014. Holy guacamole.

The 2014 base shows a Camaro-esque rear end sporting a signature ute flatbed reminiscent of the classic El Camino. On the front, the El Camaro is expected to take many design cues of the Camaro Z/28 with the same supercharged LS7 found on the ZL1 capable of near 600-hp under the hood.

More details on the ute are still scarce but we hope to see this beast on the road very soon.

 

Speaking of Sasquatches was at a dinner party and this older gentleman was talking about his record keeping of the Sasquatch sightings in Maryland?!? Needless to say everything after that statement from him was ignored!!! Sasquatch as if!!! Wack job!!!
