My niece is on my line and she wants to be downgraded from Android to an iPhone 5. Only $299 for 32 gig.

Yeah did you get an AT&T version? I've been told the AT&T ones are unlocked if you pay full price...

I did .... I asked if it was unlocked but the guy said they don't have any unlocked ones I may return it and just buy it off apple.com

They don't carry it factory unlocked, but I've heard that when you pay full price and put a different sim in, connect it to iTunes and it says it's unlocked. Let me see if I can find more info for you from my friends still at apple...

Also, apple offers a 30 day return policy and the warranty is through them anyways. But like we said before, they hardly ever have stock - supposedly that's getting better though.
