Peacock

 

I don't even remember the last time I saw a peacock. When I was little I remember lots of people in the rural South would have peacocks roaming around the yard, especially around old farm houses. Never see them anymore though.

 

There are a few places in town that have them. These guys walk around the Fountain of Youth archeological park. They have white (albino?) ones too. I'll upload those too when I get on the laptop I took the munchkin there to check them out. They look like super fancy turkeys. Lol

 

Too many Thanksgivings.

 

They used to have them roaming around the zoo when I was little but I haven't seen one in a long time.

 

Peacock I spotted a year ago at work. Those things are noisy. The entire neighborhood I found this one in us swarming with them.

 

Pretty!

Makes me laugh though. Last time I saw one, it started chasing one of my friends.

 

The main thing I remember was how annoying they were with all that screaming. Used to scare the **** out of me when I was really little, one of them would start coming toward me when I was playing in the yard and I'd be heading to the porch in a hurry.

 

Lol! We had a mean rooster that chased everybody. It spurred my mom when she was putting laundry on the line.

They sound like cats! It's creepy! Lol

 

There was a guard turkey a few houses away from me growing up. That mean bastard would chase down everyone that came close to their yard.

 

Birds can be scary. My dad used to let out his umbrella cockatoo on purpose when we had company over . Alfie's wing were clipped but he would chase people. I'm one of the few people he liked. Lol

 

We had a used parrot not long ago for a couple weeks. Mean ****er didn't like anybody but my wife. Had to send him back.

 

Birds in the house freak me out.

 

I'm not a bird person. It liked me but I was still a little scared of him.

 

My parents used to have peacocks when we live in Los angeles, don't know why, but I've seen a couple here in minnesota.

 

Bird bird bird, and the bird's the word..
