i have`nt paid attention to that .. when was tha last vinyl top made ?

Probably early 80's, back when I was still young. Bro-in-law says he had a 1980 Grand Prix with a vinyl roof.

My first car had a vinyl roof. A '73 Nova, red with a white top. I even had an 8 track player
