That's awesome Charlie. There is a really growing community of them in a spillway close to here. These are a few shots that the locals have taken. There is actually one huge nest that you can see from the overpass that has been there for at least 8 years. See one or two there when we pass by sometimes.

There's a big snag coming into town they like to sit in. The wind blew it over several years ago so the Power Co. hoisted it back up and reinforced it so people would see them at the entrance to town. lol

It's been a long time since I've been fishing in the spillway but I hear there are a lot of new nests in there. And it's a perfect area for them to breed. Just a big overflow reservoir probably 20 square miles. Lots of shallow water and fish and only some atv and boat traffic.
