I've never been able to see Northern Lights. The time lapse cam at the bottom is GREAT!

Back in 03 there was a big burst that supposedly would be able to be seen as far south as OR. So the 8000' volcano to the north of me has a 4x trail to the top to the old fire lookout. Stayed and watched for hours but didn't see anything. But I did get a great sunset pic of the 9500' volcano to the west with the Siskiyou Range in the background.

You mentioned Texas, so if you have a couple of years, Gary should have his new garage built (which I should mention is going to be the egg mcmuffin of garages) and he should be probably be ready to move on to building his next house. So his current one will be up for sale

I was actually looking at places in the San Antonio area last night. Hard to find exactly what I was looking for, nut came pretty close. Maybe I should expand my price range.That would be awesome to have!
