I have a painting of a horse hanging in my house that I did in 8th grade. Lol! Also a few drawings from earlier. My grandma has one framed in her house from when I was 5.

My "Ghost Wind" leopard lines are traced from Russia during her reign. Russian sailors* to Tillamook Bay traded with Howling Elk of the Nez Perce.
*Did you know that Fort Ross just north of San Fran Bay was a Russian Fort back then?

Surprised me too. When writing my book I had to diverge into a bit of Russian sailing history to verify parts of the Nez Perce spotted horse history. I knew the Russians had outposts in AK, but they would sail down to their Fort Ross (then 'Alta California') to load cattle to take back to AK.
