When I had my 89 LX 5.0 I named her silver after the lone rangers horse.. Lol. Our current 13 Fusion is actually silver so my wife named her Silvia.. But during last winter we got to calling her Pegasus.. Or more often "The Beast" because once we got winter tires, she goes through anything!! Lol btw "the beast" is the nickname of the Battlestar Pegasus.. So yes it's also a geek reference lol

Black Betty
I know it's common but if you Wikipedia the song it is rumored that black Betty was a bus used to transport inmates in Alabama way back. Considering I've had to visit many jail motels in the past my friends thought it would be an appropriate name for my black gt.

Mine is named “Hidalgo Express” after the 2004 movie Mustang that raced across the desert. Seemed appropriate since I live in the desert and run the back roads. Had a $10.00 laser engraved aluminum tag made up at the local trophy shop and attached it to the blower to make it official.

after my mother who became mentally ill and took her own life in April. In fact I'm trying to work with a company to get a custom plaque done for the radiator cover. But it's not looking good at the moment. Her name's already on the right side of the dash.

I'll make a short story long! I've loved Mustangs since I was in middle school, I always wanted one but never pulled the trigger. I was acutally looking at a BMW as my dream car and while I was surfing the net I found out that the Mustang was comming up on 50 years of non-interrupted production (sorry Corvette) and instantly changed my mind. I've been tracking this car since 2013. I started of thinking about names since earlier in the year. some of them were Hell Cat (thanks GOD I didn't go with it), Excalibur (was going to get silver or magnetic based on the name), dragon viper (I don't know it just sourced bad ***!) Finally I came to grip with the fact that I needed to but the car I wanted in the color I wanted and figure out the name from there. I love the competition orange so I started thinking about names and came up with Inferno based on the color and that fact that this is going to be a HOT car that will set the streets of Tampa Bay on fire.

Mustang names
Ok, so this may be a bit crazy, lol, but I kind of want a name for my car so its more personalized...don't judge me. Now I just need some tips on naming a car. I have a 2013 Sterling Gray V6 and I just don't know what to call it (or her).
I kind of like names that aren't people names. I'd like something like "The Green Machine," but obvious not green because I don't have a green car!
