I wanted NVRL8...

Someone already had it, so I went with a standard plate

My specialty plates are waiting at the tax office... but DMV hasn't issued the regular plates yet so I cant pick them up. Used to be the dealer would take care of that at the tax office... but I guess it's changed. 4 to 6 weeks they say.

I ordered the black tag with the partial star on the left side. Couldn't pull the $395 trigger on a 6 character 'luxury' tag (12LRGT), so I just let them generate the random combo on the same plate... only $195 for 5 years that way.

PLUS, people will be trying to figure out what the hell it says.

It works fine with my 5 speed manual. I use to also have LEDFOOT on my other car but I had to give it up when I got married.

I beg to disagree with you. I think one of the worst lookings things is when you see a great car, all decked out nice, washed, waxed, just beautiful, and then you look at the plates and it is some standard random DMV issued plate. It breaks the whole mood of the car.

My two Mustangs wear

10 GB GT
10 BLK GT

It is surprising how many people can't figure them out when standing there looking at the cars.

My 1973 Corvette tag was Vette 73 I never realize how many people would ask me what year the Corvette was.

That's a little too far of a stretch to see Hi Officer in that plate.
