Front License Plat Mount?
Folks, Have a front license plate (Va) on my 2005 GT but when I go through the brushless car wash the tag and frame gets bent out. Is there a sturdy front tag mount that looks good and can be mounted with the existing two screw holes of the front bumper tag mount that won't get bent or puled out by a brush wash? R/Mike

I didn't like just two self threaded screws holding mine on, and the plate didn't stay "flat".
So I cut out a "backup" plate of 1/8" aluminum, then I made a simple lower brace that attaches back inside the bumper underneath.
Very sturdy now and the license plate remains flat. For the lower two screws I used stainless steel self threaded screws like at top, but I used those plastic inserts as "nuts". The cross piece is a piece of 1" x 1" aluminum angle riveted to he backup plate. The two pieces that go back under the edge of the bumper are pop riveted with 3/16 rivets to that angle.
I used solder to bend to find my angles to bend them.
I also used some black duct tape on the edges of the back up and on back side where it rests against bumper face.
