Some people say people put those fender flares to look cool. I had no idea that wasn't the whole reason. I saw where a guy had oversized tires on his pickup and a cop pulled him over and said that fender flares are REQUIRED BY LAW if your tires stick out of your fender wells by too much. I've never seen fender flares put on a Mustang before.
