Those two vids have made me realize that I like the S-type better.

 

I have the S-Type (Ford Racing Sport) and it is amazing indeed. I should have some video this weekend. For the time being I just have some clips from my GoPro (lifted the audio only as it was dark out) and they aren't that great.

 

Can't wait. Not to nit pick but please do a proper vid. I hate it when the camera is 2 feet away.

This board is making the waiting that much worse. I can't wait to get my 5.0.

I think that exhaust sounds great! There's nothing I heard that I don't like. Mine are on order and I think I'll be very happy with my choice. It's such a personal thing, I guess that's why there are so many choices in the sound. This one does it for me.

Why is it that these axle backs for the 5.0 produce so much sound? Compared to an axle back on the camaro's I've heard on youtube owners say there not much louder than stock.

The Borla s-type and the Roush are my 2 favorites right now, flowmasters have that weird tin can sound to them.

 

I've always wondered this as well. Even in comparison to the outgoing 4.6 3V with just an axleback it seems to put out a lot more volume.

 

My new GT/CS is arriving the week of Christmas. I have listened to all the exhaust clips and i think the one i'm going with is the Stainless Works, cat back race system. My car won't be a daily driver so i'm not worried about the drone. I just love the sound of them and for roughly $1,100 bucks i think there worth it.

 

Can't wait. Is this car going to be a project car, weekend toy, or track car?

All of the above! I also have a Grand National, that i use just as a cruiser.

I just sold an 03 Cobra, that was used the same as the new one will be.

 

Thats good to hear when you get your 5.0 could you please right a little review of how it compares to your old Cobra. I am not sure what car I want but am leading towardds the Cobra bc of its 'raw' factor.
