2011 Mustang 5.0 exhaust clips
Does anyone live near Temecula, Ca with a new 5.0? I called Mac Performance exhaust yesterday and they told me they are ready to start manufacturing exhaust for the new 2011 5.0 but haven't had any customers bring a Mustang in for testing purposes. The rep told me they offer free exhaust for the person that brings their car in like everyone else has been doing. I would like to hear their setup when they do release it.
Although these videos are very helpful I wish I could hear these exhaust in person. It seems the more I listen to these videos the more indecisive I become.

Side note: If any members clip is up there let me know and I will add your name next to it, or add a clip of your exhaust.
Does anyone know where I can find a clip of a 5.0 with G500 mufflers?

Since this is an exhaust thread... What is the trick to getting the top passenger side nut off of the manifold? That thing is in such an awkward angle. It would have taken no more than 15 minutes to remove the stock h-pipe, but this one **** nut is just..wow.
Edit: LOL! Nevermind, it was so simple. Don't try to loosen it from under the car. Open the hood and use about 2.5ft of extensions and you'll get it easy.

Ok, I for the offroad x-pipe completely installed and took the car for a test drive.
Synister, I'm going to have to politely ask that you remove my link from the topic. I won't explain how, to save myself embarassment, but lets just say that the passenger side over-the-axle pipe was not in the muffler.
So... my Street Series video is not an accurate portrayal of how the system sounds.
Hah, I was wondering why it was so loud.
But, now that I have the OFFROAD X-pipe and everything FULLY tightened, here is my review.
Ready?
It's too quiet. Yeah, the system with one muffler disconnected was louder than it is now. Yes, an offroad X-pipe with the Street Series is quiet. Anyone want to trade for a Comp? haha
I'll still have a new video soon.

Ok guys!
Updated videos. As it says in the descriptions, I apologize for crappy video/audio/quality. But it's the best I could do and hopefully you still get an idea of how it sounds.
All info is in the description.
I've put 25 miles on the car with the Offroad X and no check engine light yet.hah

Awesome clip, maybe a MOD can add it and delete your previous one.
The FRPP site recently added some sound samples to their muffler kits. Thought it wouldn't hurt to add these into the mix.

Here is a clip of the hushpowers with an off-road X, reminds me of the sound of a buddy's 427 Vette with Hooker sidemounts, sounds pretty **** good!

Here is another video of the Borla S-Type (140370) cat back.

It sounds good to me in car but I am not sure about start up. I may check them out in person since they are close to me. Would you hear more popping in a video that you wouldn't hear in person?

That S-Type sounds sweet, but it almost seems like it's too loud for a daily driver to me. I don't really want to be obnoxious, but I love that sound. I wonder how only the S-Type mufflers would sound.
What is the cause of all that popping in the exhaust with pretty much ANY muffler?!? I just HATE it!!
Also, why is the Coyote 5.0 whisper quiet at idle? Is it the variable timing? I hate that. It needs a ballsier sound more like the 3V 4.6, and I've yet to hear an exhaust that really makes that happen for the 5.0.

I have only heard 1 GT at idle and yeah it was quiet. I think the stock cams as well as the stock h-pipe have to do with this.

Awesome. Can't wait to hear it.
