I'd love to wax a DIB stang. I bet it would be very satisfying. It's kinda like dark shadow grey for the 03-04 Mach 1's. You can loose yourself looking deep into the paint. Lol

It has to be black or nothing. Ok, honestly when I saw the 2013 white GT/CS, I thought that was the color but like they say, once you black...... Black Ford cars since 2002. It took 7 yrs. to learn how to keep my cars swirl free.

^^^Awesome pic!

I had a 1992 GT in black and loved it too. Is the current black metallic or solid? A metallic black would be very sexy.

Thanks, no it's gloss black only. My previous car car was metallic. It hides the fine scratches but it would be hard to match the paint if it needs to be repainted.

Good guess! CA Hwy 1 just north of Bodega Bay in Sonoma County. Not only that-taken with my cell phone camera. Sometimes the gods smile down and this is the result.

The color I really wanted was the "Gotta have it Green" but the only two locally that I could find at the time was a GT convertible and a Boss 302 which I couldn't get because the manual tranny and my bad knee would not get along.

The only color other than that that I liked was the Sterling Gray Metallic and is what I ended up getting.

The other day I saw a Gotta have it Green Mustang at a local used car lot. I stopped and looked at it and it made me want to get it. It was a 2013 GT Premium with the automatic with only 6,100 miles on it. It looked brand new. They wanted $31,995 for it and wouldn't budge much at all. I joked around with the salesman and said I should trade my 2014 GT for it. I probably would have if I didn't have to come up with a bunch of money. It did make me wish I had waited or ordered one in that color.

When i started looking for the 13 I was going to get Got to Have it Green, but the more I looked the more I liked the SGM. Coming from Grabber Blue on my 2010 and getting stopped for "you just stood out a little more than the rest" convinced me I should have got the Sterling Grey in 2010 and so I got it on the 13.
I think I did OK

Color is so very important to me, and I'm color blind. I see color, just not like normal. But I have to love my car color.
When I saw my first 96 Mystic, I had to have one. My lovely wife said, you're color blind why do you want that? Simple reply was, I may not know what color it is , but I see it changing colors and it's awesome. Owned Mystic Cobra #598 for awhlie.
Wanted S197 back in 06. Wife wanted the Ledgend Lime, looked gold to me and we both loved it.
Vapor Silver was my favorite color though. In Perfomance White now and love it too.
Color is very important to me!!!!

Please...be my guest ....

Color had ALOT to do with my decision. I had tested a black 5.0 and seen green and red ones, but the night i saw a DIB at the local pizza joint, i fell in love with the color and the car. Had to have one.

Once familial obligations (kids through college, retired) were out of the way I went looking. I did have some no-no colors (sorry, GHIG) but I had had a lifetime of silver and white cars. Black-no, I live in an area with regular 95-100 degree days. It was down to the two reds, Deep Impact Blue, and Grabber Blue with Ingot Silver last. Dealer search popped this one up and the search was over. The good: constant compliments on the car (men) and the color (women). The bad: its the only GB car in the area except for an ancient Maverick at a dope grower's house but he never takes it out. So, I've got to restrain myself on the back roads as its the only GB car in the area and the cops may know just where to go if I get a complaint.

I can relate to your story. I wanted a GT500 in Grabber Blue, but bought a Saleen in Vista Blue instead. I love the look of your car though.

When I ordered my 11, I wanted SGM with red stripes. It was offered, but only with the SVTPP package, ( $ 3495.00 ) of stuff I wasn't interested in + the thin stripes. So I bought this.

.
In 2013 Ford offered the Shelby in the colors I wanted, but @ that time, I wasn't ready to buy.
So the 2014 MY hits the streets, SGM/ red stripes is still available, but now I think I want a 2015 MY.....................till I see & read about them.
So I bought this..............finally everything I wanted in one package
