Power Steering for my '71 302?

I'm interested in installing power steering in my 71 boss 302, any advice?

There was no "Boss 350" either, Ford never made a 350. GM builds the 350, your Mach 1 as well as his Boss would be 351's.

To the original question: those old systems were serious heavy and not particularly precise. You'd need a pump, steering box and hoses. The pump and hoses might be able to be purchased at a parts store, but I'm betting the box is a boneyard item. It's been a LONG time since I messed with anything from that time period, so I could be talking crap.

Thinking about it again I'm not sure when they changed over from the 'rod assist' to the recirc ball box. If that still used the early style assist, fabricate a rack and pinion mount!
