Halicki Films is still alive and well and could best tell you where it is. I know the car is still around and may even still belong to them. Contact information is on their website:

Denice Halicki still owns the car, but it is not on public display. It is currently stored in an undisclosed location. Most recently it was on display at the Petersen Automotive Museum, but Denice rarely takes it out in public.

I saw her in LA at the Pertersen Museum Movie Cars exhibit in 2001. I got up close and personal. Because they were unloading it off the flatbed in the parking garage. I have pics somewhere

I heard that most of it was sold after his death, but I'm not sure if that's the truth.

Alright you guys thanks for your answer. I´m currently working on a very large car show that´s gonna be held here in Iceland, yes ICELAND next spring, and we´re currently looking for some very special car to borrow, to be, what do you say, "the nr. 1 at the show?" I guess this leaves the car out of the question.
I remember seeing pictures of the car at Peterson Automotive Museum along with one of the Eleanors that were in the 2000 movie, does anyone have any pictures?
