I have seen 67/68's fastbacks with vinyl tops, but never a 73.
Anybody have info on this option? would like more info about this before i
decide to take a serious look into it. Thanks

 

I've seen pics with '73's that had a full vinyl roof (even fastbacks) and a partial vinyl roof (over the passenger compartment only.) I haven't seen one before with the vinyl over only the fastback portion of the vehicle. Also, there appears to be a medallion or something inset on the vinyl. I would ask what that is.

I would inquire about the VIN. If characters 3 and 4 are "01" what you have there is a coupe someone has frankensteined into a fastback and hidden the horrors with vinyl.

If characters 3 and 4 are "02", then it really is a fastback.
