Alright..despite my hunt for a newer 'stang.. I may have come across a '72 mach w/ 351 & 2bbl....cars in good shape apart from "a little" rust in the trunk pan (that I am going to look at in a cpl weeks), supposedly floor pans are great..my question is did the Mach's ever come with dual stripes down the hood/decklid in addition to the side stripes? All the ones I have seen had the flat black/silver placement on the hood, was this stripe kit ever an option and did the rear spoiler not come on all 72's or just some? Thanks in advance for any info.

 

don't knoiw about the stripe but I think the spoiler was an option
