Prior to the fuel price increases, I would take mine out practically every day only during car meet/cruise season, but so far this season, I've only had the Mustang out on 3 occasions.. Other than that, the Mustang has never been a daily driver.
Consider yourself fortunate to be young enough to still be working and bringing in a steady income Tony! The pain is far worse for those who are retired on fixed incomes when it comes to making ends meet.. Hopefully, I'll be able to take the Mustang out at least a few more times before car cruise season wraps up in early October
Congrats Tony!
Thanks Rocky, I appreciate it.
Yes, I am very lucky to still be working and able to afford the toys. My parents are both 87 years old on a fixed income and I can see how tough it gets at times. Absolutely terrible.
Good luck Rocky!
When it comes to financing a new Mustang Tony, I'm just not able to take on making car payments on a second vehicle, as we're currently still financing my wife's 2020 Escape.. The good news is my 06 GT was paid off years ago, so at least that's one less headache to worry about lol.
Tony, not that you need a reason but do you just take her out to be out or do you usually have an errand to run? I have a 20 mile loop I take in the spring and fall just for the heck of it.

I take her out just to cruise. I love the open road and the thrill of the "GO" pedal under my command. Windows down, the sun is out and I'm out cruising. It's a passion.

Tony! You just provided the best reason above any other, which is to enjoy the passion behind each and every driving experience that only an American icon, as in the Ford Mustang can provide..
Therefore, taking your Mustang out just to cruise and enjoy the open road is more than enough reason that anybody ever needs IMHO.. That being said, keep enjoying brother

Thank you Rocky.
It's a passion,....a lifestyle honestly. I love it. Pure Americana!!!
I took her out this morning, but did not stop to take any photos. For a change. LOL Was a GLORIOUS day for a drive.
So,.....I'm out on RTE.95 enjoying myself, and I always check my mirrors when driving, doesn't matter what vehicle I am in. I see this black BMW M5 car weaving in and out of traffic. I'm like,..........here we ****ing go!! I knew he was going to cut right in front of me to keep going and sure enough!! Cut right in front of me,...no blinker or anything and speed off. I got a little heated, actually, A LOT heated, caught up to him in no time. We're side by side now. We going pretty fast, to say the least and I pull on him EASILY! It was a Florida car with the plate JAMS3. Big black dude with tinted windows all the way around. Not super tinted as I could make him out and his shirt, which had an American Flag on the driver's side sleeve.
I never do that stuff, because you never know what's going to happen on the highway, but that dude pissed me off bad. It is what it is. All's ended well.

I know exactly where your coming from Tony! I've also come across quite a few people thru the years who think they own the road and can do whatever they feel like with no consideration towards their fellow motorists... Chances are people like that are also just as self-centered and inconsiderate in their daily lives as well... What really sucks is when these folks drive recklessly by putting others in harm's way, is there never seems to be a police cruiser nearby to pull them over... It also figures the person in question was also from out of state as well

Ironically it's ALWAYS either a freaking BMW or VW driver that seems to push my buttons.
It was terrible. I saw it coming. I saw him in my rear view mirror coming in and out of traffic. I say to myself,..........."Here we ****ing go"!!!! I'm like, he's going to pull right in front of me. And yes, that's what happens, without a blinker too.
Other than that, I had an amazing drive. I actually fell in love with my car all over again right after that. Caught up to that M5 with no problem and passed him side side no problem.
