new taurus looks interesting, little more sharp of a shape than I like, and the headlights need to be taller, looks like the car is squinting

Hopefully I won't get laid off anymore. We were supposed to go to St. Thomas with them in September, but we cancelled cuz I was laid off. I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO GO TO HAWAII!!!

Disney is overrated and uberexpensive. I've been twice, 10 and 17. Both times I was dissapointed, the magic kingdom has like nothing to do, except space mountain, and that log flume ride. Animal kingdom is only the rollercoaster and a few animal exhibits, Epcot is pretty cool, but gets boring in a hurry. MGM is the best Disney park, Rock'n RollerCoaster, tower of terror, and the awesome light show at the end. as far as I'm concerned, go to Universal Studios Islands of Adventure, it was awesome when we went. And around halloween the regular Universal Studios has fright nights, it's friggin' incredible! There's all these real scary haunted houses, and more awesome is that there are parts of the park where out of nowhere guys dressed as jason come out from the shadows with chainsaws (no chains) crank them up and scare the living crap out of people.
+1 on the Hawai list. Heck, even St. Thomas would be nice for a change. I've never traveled to another country
I've heard many good stories of both MGM & Disney, but most of the people tell me MGM is better. I'd love to go there to make the comparo.

I also installed a 6 1/2" speaker on the rear door since this car didn't have one there and 6x9" on the rear deck.

Clarion head unit w remote, cost $100 four years ago.

My crappy installed voice amp & 1 farad cap.

12" amplified Ohmega sub in my messy ttrunk

The Mustang will get the same treatment but with two 10" subs

My best friend is like that. He had to order the passenger pony emblem for his 90 GT hatch twice because the guy at the parts counter ordered it wrong. Now he has a spare left pony that he will use on the interior once he gets his custom seat covers with the pony sewn in them.

The Mustang as it now sits in the back yard, alongside the Escort.

On the back is my dad's 84 S-Blazer that he hasn't finished bolting up the remaining stuff so he can finally drive it, ALMOST A YEAR AGO!!! It runs perfectly though.

The Escort is still not done since I haven't received more $ to buy the remaining parts that need replacement; the short P/S pressure hose, front struts & supports, radiator wire flush, oil & filter, and 4 tires.

So the Mustang is in the back yard awaiting a tranny overhaul?

I'm beginning to worry about the Bronco needing the same. When yuo shift from drive to reverse it is very rough with a clunk and the car feels like it drops a bit.

The other night it wouldn't start after not driving it for about 4 weeks. The starter and battery were fine it seemed to me. It was trying to start. Then after a couple of minutes I tried again and it started right up and tried to lunge forward even though it was in park with e brake on. I don't know what to make of that.

4 weeks? No wonder the battery died. Give the Bronco a tranny oil & filter change just to be sure.

Yeah. I've got to do that. Poor Bronco has been neglected. There is so much to do on it even though it runs well. I've also got what sound like a vacuum leak though it doesn't effect the way it runs. I just here an air noise when its running. Kind of high pitched but not that loud. I keep meaning to start on it on the weekends but after getting home from working all week I just haven't wanted to do it yet. I know when I start tearing into it its gonna get ugly.

And the rear leaf springs are shot to hell. I can see the arc in the springs almost bends the other way now. The rear looks to me that it has settled almost 1/2" since I got it and is worse on the passenger side than the drivers side.

I almost forgot this pic:

I saw this on the way to the beach last Friday in the morning.
It had a mean exhaust note!

Same here. Lots of stuff to do, so little time and energy.

Time to go my wife went and got us some donuts.

She asked me what I wanted for breakfast and went and got them all the way across town. She must be up to something.

That's exactly why I'm glad it's not until 2010. I need time to save money (and why we aren't taking the kids on this trip)

I really wold love to take the wife to Hawaii, but I think a vow renewal will be in our near future first including a new ring to replace the cheapo one I bought her when we were 20. I'm gonna need a lot more money as it will probably happen next year. Maybe I can get her to go for a trip to Hawaii too for the honey moon.
I think we went in 2002 (it's terrible that I can't remember the exact year) and we stayed at the Polynesian because we wanted to stay in the park too. We figured since it was a big vacation for the kids, that we'd do it right. From our balcony, we could see the castle and the fireworks at night. We didn't drive though, we flew. So of course, that was airfare for 5, plus close to $500/night for the room, tickets to the parks, food....I think we dropped close to $10k. And we didn't want the kids to nickle and dime us for every little thing they saw that they wanted to buy, so everyday my husband and I put our change in a jar (for a year and a half) and we decided to split the $ between the 3 kids and let them use it for spending money. We ended up with close to $700 in change, but decided they didn't need more than $200/kid. So they each had $150 to buy whatever they wanted for the week and were told to spend it wisely. Once it was gone, they weren't getting anymore. It really worked out well. My kids don't know how lucky they are. I was 26 the first time I went to Disney and it was my first time flying. We never went on any nice vacations when I was a kid. All of our vacations (if we went anywhere at all) consisted of camping trips.
