Went and filled up that freakin' Honda earlier at the Chevron and noticed that 93 was $3.39, guess I need to get the 500 out tomorrow, fill it up and raise some hell. Supposed to be about 70, should run really good and hook up in that weather.

I need to take some pics while I'm out. A little town where my family is from does some amazing **** for our Veterans. On Memorial day, 4th of July, Veterans day, (and another that I can't think of right now) they line every street in town with flags donated by the families that draped over the coffins of Vets that have passed on, and a cross with their name and war they served in. Literally thousands of them, takes several weeks to get them all up.

Its an amazing sight, you drive along and see people's names you recognize. Its moving. I know I've got some pics, not sure if they are on this computer though. Need to get some more, and video if I can.

I really need to try out my 93 tune. Hoping and praying it's still somewhat cheap next summer. It's so hard to find though. Highest thing my station has is 92.

Sorry been working on my paper due friday. So much more to do. Plus gotta have my stalker paper done by sunday night, test to study for wednesday, lab report due thursday, and two midterms a week from tuesday. Plus all the other normal reading/other crap.

Also watching an old movie: "You'll only have to wait 13 years to read it (will) and by then some of you will be dead...I hope."

Came across this pic of my '85 GT, T-Top, 5 speed. Got it in '87 with about 2K miles on it, had never been in the rain, still had the plastic on the seats and the window sticker (still got it somewhere). Put about 10K miles on it (still never in the rain) and got rid of it. Really regret that now, should have put it up. Loved that car. Last of the Holley 4 bbl Mustangs.

You have the VIN? Any way to track it down?

Its probably on the window sticker, but I'm not sure where it is. I do still have a set of keys to it, lol. I did come across it by chance about 5 years after I got rid of it. Ironically, the UPS guy that ran the route by my house bought it from a dealership and drove the **** out of it everyday. Had over 100K on it and was beat all to **** by that time. After talking to him, I found out I had actually went to school with his little brother (weren't friends, but I knew who he was).

Would be interesting to see where it is now. Too bad it's been beat to crap.

You'd **** if you knew about some of the other Foxes (probably 10 or more) I had and let slip away. Like the black/gold stripe '87 Saleen I had.

Not to mention the '89 SSC I passed on over a thousand dollar difference in a price argument.

But in my defense, it was a different time then, and this area was really weird with rare Mustangs (as I've told you about before with the Cobra Rs and others). As rare as that car is, there were 4 (out of 159 in the nation)SSCs within a 20 mile radius of me in the rural South when they were new. I personally knew 3 of the people that owned them. The other is a lost cause that I've talked about before. It sat and rotted in a yard not far from my house. The dad bought it for the son, they had a falling out, the son didn't want anything to do with it, and it still sits there today, covered in mildew with only a few miles on it and wasting away. Tried to buy it a few years ago and was basically met with a shotgun (figuratively, and almost literally).
